Glen Powell<\/a> warned viewers on the red carpet of the 2026 Golden Globes<\/a> that if they see him acting a bit off, they can blame Chad Powers<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n “I gotta say, all the football guys – I was down there, I took some hits yesterday,” Powell told <\/a>Variety<\/a> while working the press line ahead of the big ceremony. “If I’m walking a little weird today, it’s because I’m in a little bit of pain.”\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Whatever degree of pain Powell was feeling, he smiled through it. The Anyone But You star enthused about production of the Hulu sports comedy series’ second season, which commenced this month.\n<\/p>\n “The football is great. We’re leveling up on the football, were leveling up on every part of the fish,” he said, a reference to the Georgia football team at series’ center’s mascot – catfish. “I’m just really excited for what this season has in store.”\n<\/p>\n Powell elaborated that, in a phrase, Chad Powers season 2 could be described: “Some people just want to watch the world burn. I think the fun part is [season 1] ended on a darker note, and that’s what season 2 is definitely going to represent. It’s really the chaos that Russ Holliday is bringing on the world.
