{"id":511108,"date":"2026-01-12T15:29:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T15:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/511108\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T15:29:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T15:29:16","slug":"public-works-drains-san-antonio-river-for-clean-up-and-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/511108\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Works drains San Antonio River for clean-up and maintenance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<img width=\"640\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Riverwalk-lights-2-e1610106166777-640x400.jpg\" class=\"object-cover wp-post-image\" alt=\"Public Works drains San Antonio River for clean-up and maintenance\" post-type=\"post\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) \u2014 It\u2019s clean-up time for a stretch of the San Antonio River.<\/p>\n<p>San Antonio\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sa.gov\/Directory\/Departments\/CCDO\/Parks-Facilities\/River-Walk?fbclid=IwY2xjawPRxBpleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFpak80NHFsZ1VVdmtyREFuc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHkmJxgEchwJonwfzN74hJRhaYrdO2435mUZ-4lnfCdbBgqeUaEbF-1VU_Yfn_aem_4rPxcRjXjOvj0cXOkNRh3g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Works Department<\/a> says crews are draining a portion of the river in order to remove sediment and debris.<\/p>\n<p>They will also do inspections to ensure the channel\u2019s integrity and make necessary repairs.<\/p>\n<p>The area being drained starts at West Josephine Street to South Alamo Street.
