\n\tSkye P. Marshall<\/a> is hyping up Matlock<\/a> fans about the two new actors joining the hit CBS legal drama when the show returns with the second half of Season 2. New episodes are coming on February 26.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs we revealed on December 11<\/a>, Sarah Wright Olsen and newcomer Henry Haber joined the Season 2 cast. Wright Olsen will play Gwen, an efficiency expert analyzing the firm, and Haber as Hunter, a younger associate from the floater pool who is a total\u00a0bro. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhile chatting with Deadline at the Golden Globes red carpet, Marshall teased, \u201cThe two new cast members brought such a completely different light, energy, and charisma to our storyline that I cannot wait for our audience to witness it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe also revealed that since getting back to work following the holidays, she has not yet worked extensively with the newbies, but is so looking forward to it.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cast additions follow series regular David Del Rio\u2019s exit, whose final appearance took place in Episode 7. Since Season 1, Del Rio played Billy Martinez, an associate at Jacobson Moore,\u00a0and a colleague of Marshall\u2019s character Olympia Lawrence and Kathy Bates\u2019 Madeline \u201cMatty\u201d Matlock \/ Madeline Kingston.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeries showrunner and executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman\u00a0also shared a teaser about the two new additions. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re always bringing in new associates, new people, because we want to give our characters different energies to react to, and different obstacles to overcome. And one thing that we were talking about in the writers\u2019 room that we\u2019ve been wanting to bring in is a bro, like a real bro,\u201d Snyder Urman said.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring her chat with Deadline at the Golden Globes, Marshall also reflected on the myriad jobs she had while auditioning for her dream gig. After taking her first acting class with Lesly Kahn, she worked as a background actor, a catering waiter, and an Uber driver.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to her breakout role in Matlock, she had roles in CBS\u2019 East New York, Netflix\u2019s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, NBC\u2019s This Is Us, and Good Sam for CBS. While playing Dr. Lex Trulie on Good Sam, she worked alongside Edwin Hodge, whom she would go on to marry in 2024.<\/p>\n
