{"id":512829,"date":"2026-01-13T09:33:43","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T09:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/512829\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T09:33:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T09:33:43","slug":"light-rail-lot-users-ticketed-despite-promised-overnight-moratorium-delay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/512829\/","title":{"rendered":"Light Rail Lot Users Ticketed Despite Promised Overnight Moratorium Delay"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-normal-font-size\">Despite a promise not to begin enforcement of a new overnight parking moratorium at the Liberty State Park Hudson Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) lot, drivers at the New Jersey Transit-operated system said they were, in fact, ticketed last week, the first full week of the New Year.<\/p>\n<p>NJ Transit recently announced that beginning January 1, drivers can no longer park overnight in the long-term parking lot at the Liberty State Park light rail station, a lot that is used by both commuters and local residents. However, drivers were initially told there would be a grace period during the first few weeks of January, during which cars would not be ticketed or towed, but would instead receive a notice detailing the change.
