CHICAGO (WLS) — A man has been charged in a stabbing on a CTA train in the Loop on Saturday, Chicago police said.<\/p>\n

The stabbing took place at about 2:30 a.m. on a CTA train in the 100-block of West Lake Street.<\/p>\n

Police said Demetrius Thurman, 40, of Chicago has been charged with first-degree murder after being arrested on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Police said Thurman fatally stabbed a 37-year-old man while on the train. <\/a><\/p>\n

Thurman is due to appear in court for a detention hearing on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
