Catchings is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and a five-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year \u2014 making her one of the most decorated players ever. <\/p>\n

INDIANAPOLIS \u2014 Indiana Fever legend Tamika Catchings has reunited with Pacers Sports & Entertainment<\/a> in a new role as an ambassador.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Catchings will work with the Fever, Indiana Pacers and Noblesville Boom in the role.<\/p>\n

In this role, officials said she will “elevate sponsorship and business initiatives, energize internal and external events and serve as a representative of the organization\u2019s vision and growth.”<\/p>\n

Catchings is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and a five-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year \u2014 making her one of the most decorated players ever. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Catchings played 16 seasons with the Fever and was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2020.<\/p>\n

Aside from basketball, Catchings has a foundation called Catch the Stars\u00a0<\/a>that she established over 20 years ago. It empowers youth within fitness, literacy and character development programs. She also operates the Tea’s Me Cafe<\/a> on the north side of Indy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
