SAN ANTONIO \u2014 We’re less than a week away from the largest Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in the country, the annual MLK March. <\/p>\n
On Monday, District 2 Councilmember Jalen McKee Rodriguez spoke on the steps of City Hall to officially invite the public to come out and take part. <\/p>\n
Rodriguez says 3-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. gymnast Gabby Douglas will be the keynote speaker. Grammy-award winner and actress Coco Jones will also be the headline performer during the post-march festivities at Pittman-Sullivan Park.<\/p>\n
News 4 San Antonio will be livestreaming and proving Sky 4 aerial views from the march and Pittman-Sullivan Park from 10 a.m. to noon. We’ll also broadcast live on News 4 San Antonio from 11 a.m. to noon. <\/p>\n
The 39th Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration will take place in person on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. March lineup begins as early as 7:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
