After another humid and cloudy start, widely scattered showers and storms will develop again after lunchtime today, with heavy downpours possible with any of these storms. Since our ground is still overly saturated, some localized flooding will be possible again today. We\u2019ll quiet down later this evening and finally have drier weather to start talking about for Thursday and Friday. More storms look possible for the weekend.<\/p>\n

A North Texas church community is mourning the loss of one of their own after Hill Country floods claimed over 100 lives, with many still missing.<\/p>\n

The flooding originated from the\u00a0fast-moving waters\u00a0of the Guadalupe River on Friday, killing more than 100 people. Authorities say search and rescue efforts are still underway, including for campers missing from a summer camp for girls.<\/p>\n

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick stated on Fox News Monday that, in the aftermath of deadly Kerrville flooding, he and Gov. Greg Abbott are advocating for sirens to be installed along the Guadalupe River.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe state needs to step up and pay for these. There should\u2019ve been sirens here,\u201d Patrick said in the interview.<\/p>\n
