Over the weekend, some sad news for some significant portion of Humboldt oldsters: The great Bob Weir, rhythm guitarist for the Grateful Dead, passed away at the respectable age of 78. All of the original members of the Dead have now died except for the drummers, who don\u2019t count.<\/p>\n
Somehow, none of the regular\u00a0Lost Coast Outpost staff are qualified enough in things Dead to craft a competent Pollz to commemorate this occasion. Never fear, though \u2014 we roped in former Lost Coast Communications general manager Bill Prescott, as committed a Head as you\u2019re likely to find, to help us out.<\/p>\n
