\n\tEvan Peters<\/a> is looking forward to returning to the American Horror Story<\/a> universe \u2014 and he\u2019s not alone.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom the anthology series\u2019 2011 debut season, Murder House, to 2021\u2019s Double Feature and seven seasons in between, Peters has been a leading face of the horror series created by Ryan Murphy<\/a> and Brad Falchuk.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, after years away, the actor is set to reunite with Murphy for season 13, for a stacked ensemble also including previous series stars Jessica Lange<\/a>, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday for his new FX<\/a> show The Beauty \u2014 which marks his next Murphy collaboration following the mega-hit Dahmer \u2013 Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story<\/a> \u2014 Peters explained what brought him back to the beloved horror series.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFirst of all, it\u2019s working with Ryan again, but second of all, he\u2019s assembled the cast from all the different seasons,\u201d the Emmy winner says about why he\u2019s returning to AHS. \u201cIt\u2019s sort of an alumni, and we\u2019re all getting back together to do this greatest-hits season. So we\u2019ll see what he writes and what it brings. But just the chance to be able to work with Sarah, Jessica, Kathy, Angela again and everybody involved. I\u2019m interested to see what the scenes are and how it all plays out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen asked if he was particularly surprised to learn that Lange was returning, Peters responded with a laugh, \u201cYes! Yeah, Ryan knows how to have those dinners. He will get you in a second. I was definitely shocked, but thrilled, honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLange previously starred in the series for its first four seasons and became a fan favorite alongside Peters. In season one, she played Constance, the mother of Peters\u2019 character, Tate.<\/p>\n

\n\tSince leaving the show in 2015 \u2014 aside from a brief appearance in season eight\u2019s Apocalypse, reprising her role as Constance \u2014 Lange repeatedly denied that she would ever return to Murphy\u2019s series.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOh Christ, no. I mean, I haven\u2019t done it for more than 10, 12 years, so no, I\u2019m not doing it,\u201d Lange told Irish radio station SPIN 1038<\/a> when asked if she would consider returning for a final season. She laughed, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2019, the Oscar-winning actress again denied a return<\/a>, noting, \u201cI feel like I got the best of it in those first four seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to the alumni-filled cast, season 13 will add Ariana Grande to the group. The Wicked star is a longtime fan of the series and previously worked with Peters in her 2024 music video<\/a> \u201cWe Can\u2019t Be Friends,\u201d where he played her love interest.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 13 is rumored to begin filming<\/a> early next month and is expected to premiere on FX Oct. 31.<\/p>\n
