{"id":51515,"date":"2025-07-09T13:43:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T13:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/51515\/"},"modified":"2025-07-09T13:43:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T13:43:09","slug":"7-train-service-slowly-resumes-between-manhattan-and-queens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/51515\/","title":{"rendered":"7 train service slowly resumes between Manhattan and Queens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Service on the 7 train is slowly resuming between Manhattan and Queens after a brake issue partially suspended trains during the Wednesday morning commute.<\/p>\n<p>The disruption began when a train&#8217;s brakes unexpectedly activated near Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, halting all service between 34th Street-Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza.<\/p>\n<p><b>What You Need To Know<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No 7 train service was running between 34 Street-Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza Wednesday morning<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The MTA said a train\u2019s brakes were activated near Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>As alternatives, riders can take the E, F, M, N or W trains, or use M34-SBS buses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As of 8:55 A.M., the MTA said Hudson Yards-bound 7 trains may still terminate at Hunters Point Avenue or Queensboro Plaza.
