After signing with the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> last March<\/a>, Davante Adams has now played for four different organizations in his career. He started out with the Green Bay Packers<\/a>, worked his way to the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> and then forced a trade to the New York Jets before landing in Los Angeles this past offseason.<\/p>\n

Having bounced around throughout his time in the NFL, there\u2019s absolutely no doubt about which franchise is the best he\u2019s been with. The Rams take the top spot and he makes sure to let his teammates know that, too.<\/p>\n

While on the \u201cStephen A. Smith Show\u201d<\/a> on Tuesday, Adams revealed he tells other players on the team to make sure they stay with the Rams because \u201cit ain\u2019t greener than this.\u201d<\/p>\n

That includes Puka Nacua, who will become eligible for a contract extension<\/a> in March before his rookie deal expires in 2027.<\/p>\n

\u201cI already do that now, especially when I talk to these guys \u2013 Konata Mumpfield and some of these guys that are in the receiver room now. Even Puka,\u201d Adams said. \u201cI say, \u2018Look, man. I don\u2019t care what you\u2019ve seen me do, forcing trades, ending up playing with an old friend or whatever the case may be. I don\u2019t care if it\u2019s a coach that you\u2019ve always wanted to play for.\u2019 I always tell them the same thing over at this building. I say, \u2018Hey man, it ain\u2019t greener than this.\u2019 I jumped around and tried a few things. That\u2019s truly what my heart told me to do. I made some calculated decisions with my wife, my family, even the clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adams didn\u2019t speak down on the other three teams he\u2019s been with, but seeing how the Rams operate with Sean McVay, Les Snead and everyone in the building, he knows there\u2019s no way it can get any better. Speaking from experience, he implores his teammates to remain with the Rams for as long as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter being here in this Rams facility, this organization, I just let them know, \u2018It ain\u2019t going to be greener than this. Whatever it is, I don\u2019t care what you\u2019ve got to do, make sure you stay in this building and just appreciate a building like this. Just take my word for it,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Rams have become a first-class organization since McVay took over in 2017. He and Snead are two of the best at what they do, turning the Rams into a destination for free agents and superstars like Adams.<\/p>\n

McVay is a coach just about everyone would love to play for, and it\u2019s undeniable that his coaching style rubs off on other assistants, many of whom have gone on to become head coaches elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Adams plans to spend the rest of his career with the Rams and if his message gets through to the team\u2019s younger receivers like Nacua, they\u2019ll remain in Los Angeles, too.<\/p>\n
