JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Comedian Bubba Dub is bringing his high-energy, story-driven comedy to Jacksonville this weekend.<\/p>\n

The social media star, known for his viral catchphrases like \u201cTrashh!\u201d and his popular \u201cSnitching on Rogers\u201d skits, performs at the Comedy Zone from Jan. 15 through Jan. 18. Bubba Dub has built a massive online following, with more than 2 million followers and over 100 million views across platforms \u2014 but he says live comedy is where he truly shines.<\/p>\n

\u201cInternet and stand-up is different,\u201d Bubba Dub said. \u201cAnybody can be funny on a phone, but can you be funny in front of hundreds of people? I do an hour on stage, and my fans will let you know if you\u2019re trash.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bubba Dub said his comedy comes from a mix of real life and imagination, making his material relatable to audiences of all ages. He credits everyday experiences and shared realities for the success of his viral storytelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnywhere you live, you know people who snitch,\u201d he said. \u201cI take those stories, make them my own and share them with the world. It\u2019s real, and people connect with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While social media helped expand his reach, Bubba Dub said performing live keeps him grounded and sharp. He described stand-up as a true test, where audiences expect constant laughter and honesty.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re right there in front of them,\u201d he said. \u201cThey waiting for you to be funny \u2014 and they waiting for you not to be funny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bubba Dub has headlined shows in major cities across the country and has appeared on MTV\u2019s \u201cRidiculousness\u201d and several popular podcasts. Despite the growing recognition, he said his focus remains on delivering authentic comedy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m always talking about myself and real situations,\u201d he said. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to worry about getting uncomfortable. You\u2019re safe with me.\u201d<\/p>\n
