{"id":517011,"date":"2026-01-15T03:38:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T03:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/517011\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T03:38:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T03:38:10","slug":"nyc-student-busted-with-gun-at-school-after-fight-the-third-teen-found-armed-in-the-classroom-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/517011\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC student busted with gun at school after fight &#8212; the third teen found armed in the classroom this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 14-year-old boy was busted for bringing a loaded gun into his New York City school on Wednesday \u2014 making him the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/12\/us-news\/2-nyc-teens-busted-with-guns-at-separate-high-schools-on-same-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">third teen caught with a weapon in Big Apple classrooms<\/a> this week, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The teen was cuffed after a fight with another student led authorities to finding the .380 semi-automatic weapon stashed inside his backpack at the School of Earth Exploration and Discovery \u2013 Harlem, also known as SEED Harlem, on West 130th Street around 1 p.m., the NYPD said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the gun\u2019s magazine was loaded, but the chamber was empty. <\/p>\n<p>The teen was cuffed after a fight with another student led authorities to finding the .380 semi-automatic weapon stashed inside his backpack at the School of Earth Exploration and Discovery \u2013 Harlem. Google maps<\/p>\n<p>No serious injuries were reported in the scuffle between the two middle school students. <\/p>\n<p>Charges against the teen are still pending, police added.<\/p>\n<p>The incident comes after two other students were found armed in city schools Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>A 17-year-old male, who sources said was already wanted in connection with a Bronx shooting, was found with a firearm inside the Harlem Renaissance High School just after 10 a.m., according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Charges against the teen are still pending, police said.  Gregory P. Mango<\/p>\n<p>The incident comes after two other students were found armed in Big Apple schools Monday morning.
