The CRNP program also focuses on &#8220;improving health outcomes in underserved communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Residents in the program will have a clinical framework focusing on:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 40% Precepted Continuity Clinics: Direct hands-on experience in primary care.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 20% Specialty Rotations: Opportunities in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Women&#8217;s Health, Urgent Care, and Telemedicine.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 20% Mentored Clinics: Focus on acute and episodic care with supervision.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 20% Didactic Education: Classroom learning to reinforce clinical competencies, including lectures, case studies, and labs relevant to FQHCs.<\/p>\n<p>The one-year, salaried residency will run from September 2026 until August 2027; two residents are accepted annually. Employment at Primary Health Network immediately follows the CRNP program.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the program, the residents will be connected with other new nurse practitioners nationwide. They will also have the opportunity to participate in &#8220;Project ECHO&#8221; which Primary Health Network describes as &#8220;an evidence-based, case-learning model that enhances preparation for complex healthcare scenarios through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By equipping and empowering students with the necessary tools and resources to excel in a collaborative healthcare setting, we can enhance our ability to support the unique needs of the communities we serve,&#8221; the statement from Primary Health reads.<\/p>\n<p>Applications\u00a0for the CRNP Residency Program are now open and will close on February 27.<\/p>\n<p>The application process involves online submissions, phone screenings, onsite interviews and final selections. In order to apply, candidates are required to submit a completed application, three letters of recommendation and a personal statement.<\/p>\n<p>Any Family Nurse Practitioners who completed their program after August 2025 and are licensed in Pennsylvania and Ohio are eligible for the residency.<\/p>\n<p>Primary Health Network added that the relaunch of the program represents their commitment to &#8220;investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals&#8221; and &#8220;stronger, healthier communities for all.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>More information about the program can be found on Primary Health&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primary-health.net\/crnp-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"News Applications\u00a0for the CRNP Residency Program are now open and will close on February 27.
