Today, meet Christine\u00a0 C.\u00a0 Whalin, managing partner of <a href=\"https:\/\/dmcantor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DM Cantor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dmcantor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/98158472688266___DMCantor728x90.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-353812\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Christine\u00a0 C.\u00a0 Whalin, managing partner, DM Cantor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background:<\/strong> Whalin became an attorney in 2006 immediately finding herself in the area of criminal defense. After three years with the Maricopa County Public Defender\u2019s Office, she joined DM Cantor in 2010, becoming partner in 2018. She is one of only 12 female criminal defense attorneys in the state of Arizona who are Board Certified Specialists in Criminal Law per the State Bar of Arizona, Board of Legal Specialization. She focuses on representing individuals in all types of criminal cases ranging from state and federal felony and misdemeanor matters, along with school discipline and Title IX litigation. Throughout her career, Whalin has represented countless clients on their criminal cases, achieving successful results in the form of dismissals, reduced sentences and complete acquittals after jury trial. Whalin represents people in any type of criminal matter, and is particularly skilled in handling major felony cases involving sexual misconduct, sexual assault and other serious \u201clife-in-prison\u201d allegations. In addition, she is extremely successful in handling pre-charge matters and having those investigations closed and not filed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming challenge:<\/strong> \u201cThe legal industry\u2019s biggest hurdle in the next five years is adapting to AI \u2014 balancing efficiency with ethical use, managing job disruption, regulating AI\u2019s societal impact, and maintaining a strong focus on delivering transparent, client-centered services.
