{"id":517373,"date":"2026-01-15T07:15:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T07:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/517373\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T07:15:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T07:15:13","slug":"civil-rights-advocates-question-ice-tactics-after-walmart-parking-lot-incident-on-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/517373\/","title":{"rendered":"Civil rights advocates question ICE tactics after Walmart parking lot incident on video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO, Tx \u2014 After a video surfaced showing an alleged migrant ramming his car into ICE agent vehicles in a Walmart parking lot near Blanco and Wurzbach, civil rights advocates are questioning how ICE chooses who to stop and question.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Svehla, the head organizer of 50501 San Antonio is concerned about how federal officials are going.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt shows how ICE is operating currently,\u201d Svehla said. \u201cThey\u2019re not going through legal processes such as obtaining warrants or bringing people to court. They instead opt to just kidnap people off the street.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While speaking on FOX\u2019s Hannity, Todd Lyons, the director of ICE claims their operation is legal, and their agents are the ones being put at risk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s constant impediments, constant attacks like this,\u201d Lyons said. \u201cIt\u2019s not safe for my folks.
