We\u2019ve got you covered.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading Terminal Market\u2019s Ice Cream Festival <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/readingterminalmarket.org\/event\/ice-cream-festival-on-filbert-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reading Terminal Market\u2019s Ice Cream Festival<\/a>\u00a0is set for July 12, and the annual occasion (in partnership with Bassett\u2019s Ice Cream) shuts down Filbert Street every year to offer tasty ways to cool down. Known as one of the largest ice cream\u00a0occasions in the country, the event will be in full swing on Saturday, from 1 to 5 p.m., and will feature ice cream eating contests, sweet treat specials, live entertainment and more.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Bassett\u2019s, RTM\u2019s Ice Cream Festival will\u00a0host\u00a011 local artisans of\u00a0the dessert\u00a0alongside Market vendors.\u00a0Philadelphia ice cream favorites include Franklin Fountain, Mango Hut,\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/milk-jawn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milk Jawn<\/a>, Scoop DeVille, Tubby Robot, Weckerly\u2019s and more.<\/p>\n<p>Spots from\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/metrophiladelphia.com\/reading-terminal-market-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reading Terminal Market<\/a>\u00a0will also be joining in on the fun and adding their\u00a0own\u00a0twist on the sweet treat: Beck\u2019s Cajun Cafe will offer Bananas Foster French toast with vanilla ice cream, Fox and Son Fair Foods will add peach cobbler funnel cake with ice cream to their menu, and others will have similar creations. Riverfest is the venue\u2019s annual celebration of nature, community, and culture. This free, family-friendly event features open boating on the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River using Glen Foerd\u2019s fleet of kayaks, canoes, and rowboats, plus, there will be a small regatta for visitors to watch.<\/p>\n<p>The experience will also feature hands-on environmental and arts activities, local vendors,\u00a0music, food from\u00a0Good Karma, sweet treats from\u00a0Mister Softee, and the opportunity to go on self-guided tours around the house. On July 12 and 13 (noon to 2 p.m.) Callie Avellino from CallieCo Paints will be on site creating live personal portraits, and visitors can also peruse through her Philly and cocktail-inspired art for purchase. This immersive event features a four-course Latin-inspired menu, cocktails and a live DJ. <\/p>\n<p>Food-wise, Philadelphians can find tuna ceviche, garden guacamole, cheesesteak empanadas and a honey cheesecake made with honeycomb, blood orange, berry salsa, and alma finca orange liqueur flamb\u00e9 for dessert. Cocktails will span a Honey Lavender Margarita, Matcha Mojito and a Hibiscus Paloma Punch. Tickets for the experience come out to $95 per person.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-192516 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/AqimeroMay10.jpg\" alt=\"fun philly weekend \" width=\"500\" height=\"700\"  \/>Aqimero\u2019s boozy tea is back this weekend.Provided\/Arah Agency<\/p>\n<p>10 Avenue of the Arts, <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aqimero.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqimero.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Blobfest at the Colonial Theatre <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every summer, the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville sets aside a few days to pay homage\u00a0to the venue\u2019s starring role in a 1958 classic Steve McQueen film.\u00a0Blobfest centers around the popular horror cult classic, \u2018<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inverse.com\/entertainment\/the-blob-blu-ray-4k-steelbook-release\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Blob<\/a>,\u2019 and the three-day festival will give film buffs and horror fans the chance to check out live performances, special engagements, tours, and much more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Taking place July 11 to 13, the event\u2019s theme this year is dubbed \u201cCamp Blobfest,\u201d and will feature some new additions to the line-up (thanks to an $8,000 grant from PECO.) The funding will support expanded outreach efforts within Phoenixville\u2019s Hispanic community. The festival will officially kick off on July 11 at 6 p.m. with the Blobfest 2025 Stage Show and Run Out.<\/p>\n<p>The Colonial Theatre\u2019s Blob Ball will then follow suit\u00a0after the event,\u00a0where\u00a0guests\u00a0can\u00a0dance to live music, sip on themed cocktails\u00a0and\u00a0dress up in 1950s attire ($25, 9 p.m.\u00a0at\u00a0225 Lobby.) The Blobfest Street Fair will\u00a0be taking\u00a0over\u00a0Bridge and Main\u00a0street\u00a0on July 12 beginning at 11 a.m., and then the next day, visitors can participate in the 7th Annual Blobfest\u00a05k,\u00a010k, and half marathon. Yoga in the Park is another fan-favorite activity that happens on select Sundays (including July 13) from 10 to 11 a.m. in the expansive green space of East Fairmount Park, led by a rotation of local Tula Yoga instructors. Tula will also host a 9 a.m. class catered towards seniors on those dates as well. All yoga sessions are free in 2025.
