The deadline to enroll in Pennie, the state\u2019s health insurance marketplace, has been extended to Jan. 31. <\/p>\n

\u201cOpen enrollment is the only time each year Pennsylvanians can shop and enroll in health coverage that fits their needs,\u201d Pennie executive director Devon Trolley said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to federal changes, costs are increasing but many Pennsylvanians still qualify for financial savings and now is the time to act,\u201d he said. \u201cEnrolling in health coverage before the deadline can ensure you are not only protecting your health in 2026 but also protecting your financial well-being should something unexpected occur.\u201d <\/p>\n

Pennsylvanians can review their enrollment options at pennie.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Plans offered through Pennie include coverage for hospitalization and emergency care, prescription drugs, maternity and newborn care, mental health and substance abuse services and preventive care such as check-ups and screenings. <\/p>\n

Pennie\u2019s plans also cover pre-existing conditions. <\/p>\n

While federal subsidies have expired, residents can visit pennie.com to calculate the cost of plans and potential financial savings. <\/p>\n
