{"id":519037,"date":"2026-01-15T23:41:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T23:41:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/519037\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T23:41:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T23:41:11","slug":"water-sewer-street-improvements-continue-in-mistletoe-heights-alamo-heights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/519037\/","title":{"rendered":"Water, sewer, street improvements continue in Mistletoe Heights, Alamo Heights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Construction continues on city of Fort Worth water, sewer and paving improvements to streets in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistletoeheights.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mistletoe Heights<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.fortworthtexas.gov\/neighborhood\/ViewOrganization.aspx?orgid=136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alamo Heights<\/a> and nearby neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortworthtexas.gov\/projects\/cfw-mistletoe-alamo-heights-street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">what\u2019s happening now<\/a>, according to a city update earlier this month:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New water lines on Buck Avenue, Harrison Avenue, Mistletoe Drive, Mistletoe Boulevard and Lipscomb Street have been installed.<\/li>\n<li>Crews have installed temporary pavement until permanent pavement is put down.<\/li>\n<li>Work is in progress on the water line on Gordon Avenue.<\/li>\n<li>Permanent pavement is in progress on Lipscomb Street.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What\u2019s next:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Permanent paving on Buck Avenue, Harrison Avenue, Mistletoe Drive and Mistletoe Boulevard starts in the spring.<\/li>\n<li>The city has put work on pause on driveways, sidewalks and curbs along Buck. \u201cThis part of the work will resume in the spring,\u201d the city said.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Total project value is $5.4 million. All work, funded by a city bond program in 2022, is scheduled to be complete in October. Work on 12 streets is included:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Buck Avenue, from West Rosedale Street South to Mistletoe Avenue<\/li>\n<li>Chambers Avenue, from Alamo Avenue to West Vickery Boulevard<\/li>\n<li>Gordon Avenue, from McPherson Avenue to West Lowden Street<\/li>\n<li>Lipscomb Street, from Page Street to West Capps Street<\/li>\n<li>Livingston Avenue, from West Lowden Street to West Bowie Street<\/li>\n<li>Lisbon Street, from Chambers to Landers Street<\/li>\n<li>Rutledge Street, from West Vickery Boulevard to Landers Street<\/li>\n<li>Landers Street, from Locke Avenue to Lovell Avenue<\/li>\n<li>Mistletoe Drive, from the alley between Mistletoe Avenue and Edwin Street to West Rosedale Street South<\/li>\n<li>Harrison Avenue, from Buck Avenue to Mistletoe Drive<\/li>\n<li>Mistletoe Boulevard, from Buck Avenue to Mistletoe Drive<\/li>\n<li>Alley between Alamo Avenue and Valentine Street, from 370 feet south of Chambers Avenue to West Freeway<\/li>\n<li>Alley between Lisbon Street and West Vickery Boulevard, from Bedford Street, to 144 feet north of Chambers Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scott Nishimura is senior editor for local government accountability at the Fort Worth Report.
