As the U.S. undergoes an aggressive wave of immigration crackdowns, this new dinner series supports\u00a0local frontline organizations defending immigrant and refugee communities.\u00a0Beginning with L.A.,\u00a0Anti-ICE Supper Club has plans to stop in Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York City throughout 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The L.A. edition will run Jan. 31 to Feb. 3 in benefit of Al\u00a0Otro\u00a0Lado<\/a>, a nonprofit organization that provides direct legal support to immigrants and refugees in Southern California and across the U.S.-Mexico border.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe are driven to do this work\u00a0everyday\u00a0because in good conscience, we cannot watch our government commit crimes against some of the most vulnerable among us in our name and with our tax dollars,\u201d says Erika\u00a0Pinhiero,\u00a0executive\u00a0director of Al\u00a0Otro\u00a0Lado.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The first two Anti-ICE Supper Clubs will take place at a private residence in Larchmont on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. <\/a>Helmed by chef Daniel Patterson (previously of Star Coi in San Francisco and Alta Adams) and 25-year music industry veteran Sarah\u00a0Lewitinn\u00a0(professionally known as\u00a0Ultragrrrl), the evenings will welcome just 14 guests for a 10-course tasting menu with wine pairings. Then, on Feb. 3<\/a>,\u00a0Guelaguetza<\/a> chef and owner Bricia Lopez will host a\u00a0tlayuda\u00a0experience featuring music,\u00a0dancing\u00a0and plenty of fresh\u00a0tlayudas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAt its core, Guelaguetza has always been a place to build community \u2014 it\u2019s the essence of our culture,\u201d said\u00a0Lopez. \u201cWe are built for community, and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0in moments like these that community matters most.
