{"id":519575,"date":"2026-01-16T04:58:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T04:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/519575\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T04:58:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T04:58:15","slug":"how-philadelphia-is-fighting-back-against-reservation-scalpers-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/519575\/","title":{"rendered":"How Philadelphia is fighting back against reservation scalpers \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An unfortunate trend has hit the Philadelphia restaurant scene as people trying to book hard-to-get reservations are seeing them being sold online for a profit. <\/p>\n<p>Those cashing in on those coveted tables are called reservation scalpers. <\/p>\n<p>One Philadelphia resident, Annabell Machado told NBC10 that she has been trying for more than a year to get a reservation at Philly&#8217;s popular Cambodian restaurant, Mawn. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would never pay a third party to get a reservation because even if the restaurant is amazing, they&#8217;re not benefiting,&#8221; Machado said. &#8220;It&#8217;s evil.
