NEW YORK (WABC) — Nurses will be back on the picket lines for a fifth day on Friday in what appears to be turning into a drawn out fight.<\/p>\n
Negotiations are expected to resume at the bargaining table for all three hospital systems, impacting the nearly 15,000 nurses who walked off the job early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
But, there is still no resolution in sight<\/a> for one of the hospitals, NewYork Presbyterian.<\/p>\n NewYork Presbyterian released this statement, saying:<\/p>\n “Discussions focused on staffing. The union’s proposals remain unreasonable. While we continue to be far apart, we are committed to bargaining in good faith. Future meetings will be scheduled through the mediator. We are committed to safe staffing and have the best staffing ratios in the city.
