The event will take place on Tuesday, July 15, from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. at North Star High School, located at 5801 N 33rd St.<\/p>\n<p>The district is seeking to hire bus drivers, paraeducators, transportation paras, food service workers, food service manager trainees, head bakers, head cooks and custodians. Walk-ins are welcome, but applicants are encouraged to complete a pre-event application on the LPS website to expedite the process. This event is intended for new applicants only.<\/p>\n<p>To streamline the interview process, candidates should bring an email address, social security number, driver&#8217;s license and references, including email addresses for references. Work history details, such as dates of employment, company names, addresses, phone numbers and supervisor names and email addresses, are also required.<\/p>\n<p>The Lincoln Board of Education has recently approved negotiated agreements with several employee groups, resulting in salary and benefit increases.<\/p>\n<p>Current salary ranges are:<br \/>Bus drivers earn $26.65 per hour with paid training at $20 per hour to obtain a CDL.<br \/>Custodial positions range from $20.18 to $29.17 per hour.<br \/>Nutrition services positions range from $16.95 to $25.21 per hour.<br \/>Paraeducators earn between $18.00 and $21.50 per hour.<br \/>Transportation paras earn $17.30 per hour.<\/p>\n<p>Full-time and part-time employees, working at least 17.5 hours per week, qualify for competitive health insurance, pension, generous leave and other benefits.
