The Arizona Wine Festival in downtown Phoenix will be serving up flavors from all over the state!<\/p>\n<p>Guests can meet the creators of the products and learn about their passion and unique process, especially in winemaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur guests to have a chance to meet the winemaker, meet the artist, and learn about their passion, [and] learn about how they made [it],\u201d said Mike Pigford, event organizer, to ABC15, who added that the tasting at the festival showcases each wine\u2019s unique journey from vineyard to glass, shaped by the winery and winemaker.<\/p>\n<p>More Things to Do stories:<\/p>\n<p>The two-day festival will showcase more than 20 Arizona wineries, 50 vendors, several food trucks, and live entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>There are new activities to look forward to if you are a returning festival attendee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year, we&#8217;ve invited eight of the wineries. We&#8217;ll be bringing two barrels each, so you will be able to <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1AVifUftQ8\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sample straight from the barrels<\/a>, straight from the winery sellers, which is always a unique experience, to see what it tastes like while it&#8217;s being made, while it&#8217;s being aged,\u201d said Mike Pigford, event organizer, to ABC15. \u201cAnd then we&#8217;re bringing back a grape stomp. Teams of two will compete to see who can stomp the most juice out of grapes to win prizes!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both days of the event will feature the scheduled grape stomp sessions and all-day barrel tastings with the winemakers available to answer questions, according to Pigford.<\/p>\n<p>    <b>IF YOU GO<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"rte2-style-ul\">\n<li>The event takes place on January 25 and 26\n<ul class=\"rte2-style-ul\">\n<li>Saturday hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>The Wine Festival offers tickets for $35 pre-sale and $45 at the gate, including a commemorative glass and 10 tasting tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sunday hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.\n<ul class=\"rte2-style-ul\">\n<li>The Wine Festival offers tickets for $30 pre-sale and $40 at the gate, including a commemorative glass and 10 tasting tickets.<\/li>\n<li>Event venue: Heritage Square [113 N 6th St.] in Phoenix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PHOENIX \u2014 Want to unwind with friends?
