{KXLG -Watertown, SD} The Codington County Commission has approved an upgrade to the camera system at the county courthouse, with a total estimated cost of $38,705.40<\/strong>. The project, presented by Director of Facilities Steve Molengraff, aims to enhance security and surveillance capabilities within the building.<\/p>\n

The project’s cost increased by approximately $1,000 since its initial estimate due to the imposition of tariffs. A US Justice Systems Grant (USGS) is expected to partially offset the cost of the upgrade, contributing approximately $9,950 to the project.<\/p>\n

The motion to approve the camera system upgrade was made by Commissioner McElhany and seconded by Commissioner Gabel, passing unanimously.<\/p>\n
