Country music star Kacey Musgraves<\/a> will headline 2026\u2019s Big Night, an annual fundraiser in Fort Worth, event organizers recently announced. <\/p>\n

Now in its fifth year, the event will take place April 9 at the River Ranch Stockyards. It is run by the Big Good<\/a>, a nonprofit founded in 2020 by Fort Worth singer-songwriter Leon Bridges<\/a> and former Texas Christian University head football coach Gary Patterson<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Proceeds will go to four local nonprofits: Tarrant To & Through Partnership, United Community Centers, UpSpire and Tarrant Area Food Bank. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe started the Big Good because we wanted to create something bigger than ourselves \u2014 something that gave back to the city that raised us,\u201d Bridges said in a news release. \u201cHaving Kacey Musgraves join us in year five is special. Her artistry and her heart for community will make this our most meaningful year yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musgraves is an eight-time Grammy winner who grew up in Golden, about 80 miles east of Dallas. She and Bridges have collaborated before. They dueted on \u201cPresent Without a Bow<\/a>\u201d and \u201cSuperbloom,\u201d which they sang together during Musgraves\u2019 2024 tour stop in Dallas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also performing at the Big Night will be Fort Worth\u2019s Abraham Alexander<\/a>, who was nominated for best original song at the Oscars last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cFort Worth has shown us time and again that when we come together, real change happens,\u201d Patterson said in the release. \u201cThe Big Good has grown into something truly powerful. Every year, we see more people step up to be part of the mission. We\u2019ve accomplished a lot in just five years, but we\u2019re not slowing down.\u201d<\/p>\n
