Kris Jenner<\/strong> proudly posted a video of Kim Kardashian<\/strong> strutting down the runway at Balenciaga\u2019s 2025 couture show during Paris Fashion Week. While Kim channeled Elizabeth Taylor<\/strong> for the high-fashion moment, it went viral for another reason, as fans criticized the reality star for a walk they felt fell short of true model standards.<\/p>\n

Jenner shared a series of eight videos and photos capturing Kardashian styled similarly to Taylor\u2019s iconic outfit in the 1960 film Butterfield 8 and shared them on Instagram<\/a>. In Butterfield 8, Taylor’s character, Gloria, famously wears a white slip, and the look became one of her most memorable and sultry.<\/p>\n

Kardashian appeared to mimic Taylor’s style during her Balenciaga runway appearance, wearing an outfit consisting of a white slip dress, a stunning array of jewels, and a fur jacket. Her hair was styled similarly to Taylor’s. PEOPLE Magazine<\/a> reported the jewels were Lorraine Schwartz, consisting of approximately 250 carats of diamonds.<\/p>\n

But the reality star’s stunning fashion look was overshadowed by what appeared to be an un-model-like runway walk. Fans took notice and roasted her online for it.<\/p>\n

One fan questioned, “Kim why u walking like that?” A second penned, “If you trying to do sultry, it’s really not working out.”<\/p>\n

“This is why some models are supermodels for all modeling, and some models are not runway models. Kim is simply not a runway model, but she looks absolutely gorgeous,” penned a third. A fourth asked, “Why didn\u2019t she get lessons from Kendall [Jenner]? That is not the walk, Kim.”<\/p>\n
