Good Charlotte<\/strong><\/a> ignited the stage at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO presented by Capital One on Saturday night (January 17) at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The show marked the band\u2019s first Los Angeles performance in 10 years.<\/p>\n

The L.A.-based rockers, hailing from Waldorf, Maryland, noted \u201cit\u2019s been for a very long time. It\u2019s good to play a hometown show,\u201d lead vocalist Joel Madden<\/strong> said. Good Charlotte transported the California crowd back to the early 2000s with a nostalgic set that included some of the band\u2019s most iconic hits. The band kicked off their highly-anticipated L.A. performance with \u201cThe Anthem\u201d and \u201cGirls & Boys,\u201d plus \u201cRejects,\u201d \u201cThe River\u201d and \u201cI Don’t Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem).\u201d Joel got the entire arena audience on their feet, jumping in unison when Good Charlotte played \u201cLifestyles of the Rich & Famous\u201d for their epic finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just feel excited. I feel grateful,\u201d Benji Madden<\/strong> said when he and Joel spoke with iHeartRadio’s\u00a0Booker and Stryker<\/strong> before taking the stage. \u201cL.A.\u2019s home,\u00a0so it\u2019s really nice.
