Colin Jost once again starred in a Saturday Night Live cold open this week, reprising his role as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. <\/p>\n

Jost\u2019s performance largely made fun of Hegseth\u2019s bravado over the Trump administration\u2019s invasion of Venezuela<\/a> earlier this month, but it also took a shot at Hegseth\u2019s workout videos<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cJust remember, you F with America, we\u2019re going to F you right back,\u201d Jost\u2019s Hegseth said. \u201cJust like it looks like I\u2019m F-ing this kettlebell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referencing a viral video of the real Hegseth exercising with a kettlebell<\/a>, Jost pulled out his own kettlebell and started lifting it up and down, thrusting his hips as he did it. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou might have seen it in a video,\u201d Jost\u2019s Hegseth said. \u201cIt got passed around online, in a positive way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hegseth said threateningly, \u201cYeah, I\u2019m going to F you like I\u2019ve never done it before, and I\u2019m going to finish way too fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

SNL\u2019s Trump, once again played by cast member James Austin Johnson, soon interrupted him. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat was great, buddy,\u201d Trump told Hegseth, before adding, \u201cEven I know you\u2019re doing that wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cold open also saw the return of Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, except this time she was not played by Tina Fey. The role was instead taken up by cast member Ashley Padilla for the first time. <\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, there\u2019s been clashes on both sides in Minneapolis<\/a>. And have we been perfect? Yes,\u201d Padilla\u2019s Noem said. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I know a lot of people looking at the situation in Minnesota are wondering the same thing: \u2018Can I join ICE?\u2019\u201d Noem said. <\/p>\n

She continued. \u201cWell, let me ask you this: is your neck wider than your head? Are you currently wearing a Punisher T-shirt? Have you ever punched a hole in the wall because your son took a dance class? If the answer is yes, then grab a gun, any gun, and saddle up, big boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cold open also introduced new cast member Jeremy Culhane as Vice President JD Vance. <\/p>\n

Culhane is replacing Bowen Yang in the role, as Yang left the show<\/a> in the previous episode. Trump joked about the cast change, noting that Vance had gotten \u201ca makeover.\u201d<\/p>\n

Culhane\u2019s Vance told viewers, \u201cI came here to do two things: kick bubblegum and chew a–.
