Roger Waters <\/a>is not taking back the comments he made about late singer Ozzy Osbourne <\/a>shortly after his death in July 2025. <\/p>\n

The Pink Floyd frontman threw a few jabs towards the late, great Black Sabbath singer-songwriter in an interview with \u201cThe Independent Ink\u201d in August<\/a> 2025. <\/p>\n

\u201cOzzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life, we\u2019ll never know,\u201d Waters said. \u201cAlthough he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn\u2019t give a f\u2013k.\u201d<\/p>\n

Waters, 82, went on to add, \u201cI don\u2019t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn\u2019t care less, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Osbourne family wasn\u2019t having it. <\/p>\n

Ozzy\u2019s son, Jack, responded in an Instagram story stating, \u201cHow pathetic and out of touch you\u2019ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls\u2013t in the press. My father always thought you were a c\u2013t. Thanks for proving him right.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Osbournes also released a limited-time t-shirt <\/a>in December 2025 depicting Ozzy urinating on the cover of Pink Floyd\u2019s The Wall, with the back reading \u201cOZZY RULES\u201d below Waters\u2019 name.<\/p>\n

Waters addressed the criticism from the Osbourne family during a Jan. 16 interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored. <\/p>\n

\u201cThose comments, I\u2019m not denying that I said them, came in the middle of a long interview,\u201d Waters stated. \u201cDo I have to like every rock group there ever was in the world or people who bite the heads off bats?\u201d<\/p>\n

Morgan asked Waters if he thought an apology was in order, to which the Pink Floyd frontman remarked he would \u201ccertainly not\u201d give one to Sharon, because \u201cshe is a raging Zionist\u201d and has \u201caccused me of all kinds of things because she is part of the Israeli lobby.\u201d <\/p>\n
