President Donald Trump said on Monday that building a \u201cNew York Stock Exchange\u201d in Dallas is an \u201cunbelievably\u201d bad thing for New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe they would let this happen. A big test for the new Mayor!\u201d he said in a post on Truth Social<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of NYSE, had said it would\u00a0add Texas\u00a0as its venue for a secondary listing last year.<\/p>\n

NYSE Texas, which officially opened for business earlier in 2025, saw 10 companies, including oilfield service company Halliburton\u00a0and Truth Social-parent Trump Media & Technology Group, dual list on the Dallas-based exchange in the first three months.<\/p>\n
