Sophie Turner<\/a>\u2019s sex education was a little different than the average person\u2019s. <\/p>\n

The \u201cDo Revenge\u201d actor opened up about her unique schooling on the subject on a recent episode of the hit U.K. \u201cDish\u201d podcast,<\/a> released on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

Co-host Nick Grimshaw asked Turner about her time on the HBO series \u201cGame of Thrones,\u201d<\/a> and the 29-year-old revealed just how much she learned from the show. <\/p>\n

\u201cI did love making it. It was it, it was like, it was the best acting class I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d she said. \u201d\u2019Cause I never had like proper, formal training, so I got to learn from the amazing actors around me, which was like, I felt like I\u2019d won \u2015 you know \u2015 a competition or something.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cBut it was great,\u201d Turner said, adding that the cast \u201cwere a family\u201d that \u201ckind of merged into one person by the end of it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\"DespiteDespite learning so much on set, Turner said that she’s actually never watched the series. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut it was amazing. It informed my entire life in terms of like business decisions, just etiquette on set, how to act, um, everything! Everything I learned from \u2018Game of Thrones,\u2019\u201d she said, jokingly adding, \u201cAnd a bit from my parents.\u201d <\/p>\n

She added that she got to do \u201creally crazy shit\u201d on the series, which lasted for eight seasons. <\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely got my sex education from that show,\u201d she quipped. \u201cMore than enough.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite learning so much on set, Turner said that she\u2019s actually never watched the series. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s horrible watching yourself,\u201d she told the hosts, who asked if she\u2019d ever had to sit down and see herself on screen. <\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I\u2019ve been forced to endure like premieres and whatnot,\u201d Turner said. \u201cBut I mean, it\u2019s just awful. I leave going into like a two-month bout of depression after I watch myself, so I just don\u2019t do it.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Turner has opened up about her time on the hit series before and spoken about how she dealt with some of the more traumatic scenes and storylines her character faced. <\/p>\n

\u201cGrowing up on a show like \u2018Game of Thrones,\u2019 the subject matter was so heavy that I just developed a coping mechanism of just having the most fun in between takes, so I wouldn\u2019t get traumatized,\u201d the actor told Jessica Chastain in an article for The Cut,<\/a> published in 2022. <\/p>\n
