Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>While centre-back appears to be an area that could experience much change in the coming year or so, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> have a few more players they may tie down to new contracts to ensure their futures are at Anfield.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple Liverpool players in contract talks<\/p>\n<p>A report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/sport\/football\/article\/dominik-szoboszlai-contract-liverpool-marseille-mo-salah-champions-league-57rmpb3vl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Tim<\/a>es has said that Konate has been in talks over a new deal for 15 months now, but an agreement has yet to be reached.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Liverpool want to sign Ryan Gravenberch and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/dominik-szoboszlai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a> to new contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Mac Allister\u2019s team have also been contacted about a potential extension, but conversations over changing the Argentine\u2019s terms are not thought to have been in depth.<\/p>\n<p>The trio are all currently tied down until the summer of 2028, with Szoboszlai himself confirming talks have taken place.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cThere has been talks but, for sure, not any decision has been made. There is always progress but no decision has been made and I\u2019ll just keep on going every week, every training, giving my best for the team, for the fans. Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>It would make sense for Szoboszlai to be given the armband once Van Dijk departs in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool have a shortage of experienced leaders right now, with the Dutchman and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/mohamed-salah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohamed Salah<\/a> among the oldest players at the club.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/2025\/12\/16\/mohamed-salah-could-leave-liverpool-in-the-summer-but-not-for-saudi-arabia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salah is facing an uncertain future<\/a> at Anfield, with suggestions that he could leave at the end of this season.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old has spent the last month away at the AFCON, but Szoboszlai revealed he\u2019s still been in contact with the Egyptian.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cYes, to be honest almost every day [he\u2019s in contact with Salah]. We speak about everything. We talk a lot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s between me and him [what he wants to do]. He will come back and then we just keep on going. He will be here and it\u2019s the decision [between] the manager and the club.
