PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is locked in the Valley at least through the end of the decade.<\/p>\n
The shooting guard agreed on Wednesday to a two-year, $145 million max contract extension with the franchise. It\u2019s the highest annual extension in NBA history. The deal was first reported by ESPN<\/a>.<\/p>\n The deal also means Booker will stay in Phoenix through the 2029-2030 season. The four-time All-Star will now have a total of five years and $316 million on his Suns contract.<\/p>\n Last season was a down year for Booker, where he averaged 25.6 points on 46.1% shooting, with 4.1 rebounds but a career-high 7.1 assists per game.<\/p>\n Since the Suns drafted him No. 13 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, he\u2019s the franchise\u2019s all-time leader in points and three-pointers, fourth in assists and second in playoff 3s.
