Concerns have persisted about Scottsdale City Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield\u2019s possible conflict of interest when voting on security technology company Axon\u2019s efforts to build a new world headquarters near the intersection of N. Hayden Road and the Loop 101.<\/p>\n
She has always denied them, but paperwork filed with the Scottsdale City Clerk\u2019s office shows a connection between her and the political Action Committee Taxpayers Against Awful Apartment Zoning Exemptions (TAAAZE), which was founded by Littlefield\u2019s husband, Bob Littlefield, and has opposed all issues related to the construction of the campus, going as far as filing an ongoing lawsuit against the city and threatening a second.<\/p>\n
\u201cBob and I both have kept that subject completely off the table between us,\u201d Kathy Littlefield said. \u201cWe don\u2019t discuss it. I don\u2019t listen in on his conversations on the phone.
