{"id":53260,"date":"2025-07-10T05:06:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T05:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/53260\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T05:06:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T05:06:08","slug":"31-workers-rescued-from-industrial-tunnel-collapse-in-wilmington-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/53260\/","title":{"rendered":"31 workers rescued from industrial tunnel collapse in Wilmington \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thirty-one workers were rescued Wednesday after an industrial tunnel collapsed in Wilmington, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) said.<\/p>\n<p>The collapse was reported just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of South Figueroa Street and Q Street.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 31 tunnel workers were rescued and accounted for following the collapse, according to the officials. <\/p>\n<p>The collapse occurred approximately six miles south of the access location, LAFD said.<\/p>\n<p>More than 100 LAFD first responders were assigned to assist.
