Asia-Pacific markets are set to open mixed.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s benchmark\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carbon.cnbc.com\/3032897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Nikkei 225<\/a>\u00a0was set to open higher, with the futures contract in Chicago at 39,925 while its counterpart in Osaka last traded at 39,910 against the index&#8217;s Tuesday close of 39,821.28.<\/p>\n<p>Futures for Hong Kong&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.HSI\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hang Seng index<\/a>\u00a0stood at 23,863 pointing to a slightly weaker open compared to the HSI&#8217;s last close of 23,892.32.<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.AXJO\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S&amp;P\/ASX 200<\/a>\u00a0was also set to start the day slightly higher with futures tied to the benchmark at 8,571, compared to its last close of 8,538.6.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lee Ying Shan<\/p>\n<p>Stock futures open little changed<\/p>\n<p>U.S. stock futures were relatively unchanged on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P 500 futures hovered around the flatline just after 6 p.m. ET, as did Nasdaq 100 futures. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> added 0.61%, finishing at 6,263.26.
