{"id":53432,"date":"2025-07-10T06:39:14","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T06:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/53432\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T06:39:14","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T06:39:14","slug":"hell-definitely-be-discussed-robin-van-persie-will-consider-doing-manchester-united-a-transfer-favour-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/53432\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;He&#8217;ll definitely be discussed&#8217;&#8230; Robin van Persie will consider doing Manchester United a transfer favour this summer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Manchester United have struggled to offload players this transfer window, and may need a helping hand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aside from the free agent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/opinion\/man-utd-triple-exit-removes-one-key-trait-from-ruben-amorims-squad-he-may-need-to-address\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">exits of Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans<\/a>, the Old Trafford exit door has barely been used this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Hopes of a summer clearout have yet to come to fruition. There do not appear to be serious bids on the horizon, which is holding up United\u2019s incoming deals too.<\/p>\n<p>One action United have taken is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/five-manchester-united-players-wont-return-for-pre-season-next-week-after-club-decision\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">exclude five players from an early pre-season return<\/a>. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have been urged to focus on finding new clubs, and are expected to train separately.<\/p>\n<p>One solution might open up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/tag\/tyrell-malacia\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tyrell Malacia<\/a>, the lowest valued of all five players.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2202870698-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"PSV Eindhoven's Tyrell Malacia warms up before facing Arsenal.\" class=\"wp-image-258133\" \/>Photo by Marcel ter Bals\/DeFodi Images\/DeFodi via Getty ImagesTyrell Malacia will be considered by Feyenoord<\/p>\n<p>Tyrell Malacia has no future at Manchester United. This decision was effectively made back in January.<\/p>\n<p>Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/what-happened-to-tyrell-malacia\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Malacia\u2019s fightback from a serious knee injury<\/a>, Ruben Amorim decided to send him out on loan after taking a look at him in action.<\/p>\n<p>Amorim has since signed left-backs Patrick Dorgu and Diego Leon, blocking the pathway for Malacia.<\/p>\n<p>Now a possible return to his former club, Feyenoord, is being touted. Former Manchester United star Robin van Persie is current manager.<\/p>\n<p>Dutch journalist Martijn Krabbendam of\u00a0Voetbal International believes Tyrell Malacia will be an option for them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVan Persie prefers a Dutch player, and I think he fits the profile. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying they\u2019ll do it, but he\u2019ll definitely be discussed,\u201d he was quoted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.footballtransfers.com\/nl\/transfernieuws\/nl-eredivisie\/2025\/07\/tyrell-malacia-terug-naar-feyenoord-martijn-krabbendam-spreekt-zich-uit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Football Transfers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Feyenoord are still assessing options, having looked at Roma\u2019s Anass Salah-Eddine previously, and Wolves\u2019 Santiago Bueno.<\/p>\n<p>Malacia exit for the best<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/tyrell-malacias-personal-trainer-sends-success-message-as-man-utd-left-back-attempts-to-rescue-career\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Malacia is optimistic about the year ahead,<\/a> having missed the last two pre-seasons at Manchester United due to injury.<\/p>\n<p>But his future is elsewhere, and may well lie in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Malacia spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, where he picked up a league medal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/how-all-18-man-utd-loanees-fared-in-the-2024-25-season-including-two-trophy-wins\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">while starting only three games<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>His spell was underwhelming, and PSV chose not to take up a purchase clause.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/man-utd-struggling-to-find-any-interest-in-forgotten-player-ruben-amorim-has-already-made-decision-over\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United have struggled to find interest in Malacia<\/a>, who cost \u00a313 million as Erik ten Hag\u2019s first signing in summer 2022.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the transfer window, United will find a way to move him on, and if Van Persie\u2019s Feyenoord come to the rescue to bring him back, it is unlikely he would cost much at all.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Manchester United have struggled to offload players this transfer window, and may need a helping hand.
