Nobel Prize Peace nominee and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree Opal Lee is the newest figure added to the “Barbie Inspiring Women” line.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lee is 99, and her Barbie sports curly silver hair and glasses. She also wears pants, an \u201cOpal\u2019s Walk for Freedom\u201d T-shirt and tennis shoes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The outfit is an homage to the civil rights activist\u2019s annual Juneteenth walk.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lee gained national recognition after her walk to Washington, D.C., where she advocated to make Juneteenth a federal holiday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a statement reported by\u00a0Good Morning America<\/a>, Lee called the partnership a joy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope my story encourages the next generation to never underestimate the power of one voice. As I often say, one person can start a change, and that can change the world,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The doll is\u00a0available<\/a>\u00a0through Mattel\u2019s website for $47.99.<\/p>\n
