Tempe restaurant Three Thirty Three<\/a> opened with a splash in late 2024, following a $10 million buildout. The Asian-inspired steakhouse brought fire dancers, massive curved LED screens and $200 steaks to The Watermark on Scottsdale Road.<\/p>\n But now, despite the monstrously expensive buildout, the company has remodeled the space. The parent company, Kaos Hospitality, has divided a portion of the restaurant to create a new concept called IX Sushi. <\/a>The new eatery is scheduled to open on Feb. 9.<\/p>\n Three Thirty Three and IX Sushi reside under one roof, but according to a news release, \u201cthey are entirely independent restaurants, offering distinct menus that do not cross over.\u201d<\/p>\n At IX Sushi, the kitchen and counter will focus on elevated seafood options with sashimi, hand rolls and cut rolls. There will also be a selection of appetizers and entrees, including spicy salmon crispy rice, Wagyu and caviar toast and a bluefin tuna bowl.<\/p>\n A variety of cocktails will also be on offer to pair with the bites, with options such as the Here Comes the Sun, made with orange-infused Etisu gin and the Sakura Bomb made with sake, lychee, yuzu and St. Germain.<\/p>\n Tempe takeover <\/p>\n The reconfiguration of the Three Thirty Three space and addition of IX Sushi come amid other expansion plans for Kaos Hospitality. <\/p>\n In October 2025, Kaos announced another restaurant <\/a>coming to The Watermark called 212\u00b0 Shabu Shabu<\/a>. Named after the boiling point of water, the new restaurant will focus on the Japanese dish shabu shabu, where meat and vegetables are cooked tableside in boiling broth. That restaurant was originally scheduled to open in December, but has yet to welcome its first customers.<\/p>\n The company is also working on a fourth new spot, called Wood and Water. Joining its sibling restaurants along Tempe Town Lake at The Watermark, this new seafood restaurant will also feature an Asian-inspired menu. This 9,000 square-foot new build will include indoor dining, a patio and a large aquarium.
