{"id":537107,"date":"2026-01-23T13:35:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/537107\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T13:35:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:35:13","slug":"elevation-capital-partner-steps-down-after-15-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/537107\/","title":{"rendered":"Elevation Capital partner steps down after 15 years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img alt=\"Elevation Capital partner steps down after 15 years\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1769175313_153_image.jpeg\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"responsive\" style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;bottom:0;right:0;box-sizing:border-box;padding:0;border:none;margin:auto;display:block;width:0;height:0;min-width:100%;max-width:100%;min-height:100%;max-height:100%;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Mayank Khanduja <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mayank Khanduja, a partner at homegrown venture capital firm Elevation Capital, has stepped down from his role after spending 15 years at the multi-stage investor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I joined Elevation in 2011, the Indian startup ecosystem was just finding its rhythm, and I\u2019ve been fortunate to witness it grow into one of the most vibrant and fastest-growing in the world,\u201d Khanduja said in a LinkedIn post. \u201cI have had the unparalleled opportunity to work across spaces as diverse as consumer tech, gaming, healthcare, AI, deep tech and advanced manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Khanduja, who focused on investments in consumer-tech, healthcare, and frontier tech at Elevation, joined the firm in 2011 as an investment professional. He was promoted to vice president in 2013 and principal in 2015. He became a partner in August 2020. Prior to Elevation, he worked as an engagement manager at McKinsey &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p>His portfolio at Elevation includes ShareChat, PierSight, Atlys, AppsForBharat, NoBroker, PlaySimple, among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis pause allows me to be present wholeheartedly for my family and give them all my time and attention that they so deserve. Over the next few months, I plan to recharge and come back refreshed for new adventures,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The development comes days after VCCircle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vccircle.com\/formerincred-elevation-capital-execs-float-new-investment-firm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vccircle.com\/tag\/elevation-capital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elevation Capital<\/a> partner Vishal Sood is likely to team up with two former InCred Capital executives, Aditya Sood and Sugandhi Sud, to set up a new investment firm. Last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vccircle.com\/elevationcapital-partner-quits-in-another-top-level-change\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">another Elevation partner, <\/a>Vivek Mathur, exited the firm after a 14-year stint.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following Khanduja\u2019s exit, Elevation Capital\u2019s investment partners include co-managing partners Ravi Adusumalli and Mukul Arora, along with partners Mridul Arora, Chirag Chadha and Vaas Bhaskar, who were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vccircle.com\/elevationcapital-promotes-two-executives-to-partners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promoted <\/a>in 2024.
