\n\tWhen Josh Duhamel<\/a> fired up Apple TV+<\/a> to stream The Studio<\/a>, the inside-baseball satirical comedy from co-creator Seth Rogen<\/a>, he wasn\u2019t necessarily expecting to be the butt of a couple jokes several episodes in.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn a new episode of Michael Rosenbaum\u2019s Inside of You podcast<\/a>, the Ransom Canyon actor discussed everything from his time in the Transformers franchise and working with Michael Bay to his wellness ventures. Toward the end of the sprawling interview, as Rosenbaum checked to see if he was pronouncing his last name correctly, Duhamel pointed out an example of when it distinctly wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s a whole episode with me being cast as the Kool-Aid Guy,\u201d the actor began, referencing Episode 7 of Season 1, titled simply \u201cCasting.\u201d In it, Rogen\u2019s newly minted Continental Studios CEO is struggling to put together a docket of actors for a new Kool-Aid movie, launching a convoluted and hilarious workplace dilemma in which he and his team are so heavily invested in not leaning into stereotypes that they inadvertently do so.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah, somebody who was watching it told me about it,\u201d Duhamel told Rosenbaum. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Yeah, it\u2019s cool, I love Rogen and all those [guys]. But you\u2019d think they would have called me and said like, \u2018Hey, do you mind if we use your name and likeness for this?’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cOr at least, \u2018How do you pronounce your name?\u2019 Because they pronounced it wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen the Shotgun Wedding actor said the show\u2019s leads pronounced it as \u201cdo-HAH-mill\u201d as opposed to \u201cDUH-mel,\u201d Rosenbaum posited that they likely \u201cdid that as a joke, though,\u201d to which Duhamel responded, \u201cThey might have. Maybe.\u201d He concluded, \u201cI don\u2019t care. I\u2019m kind of flattered by it.\u201d<\/p>\n
