Fearless: Anthology 1965-2025 will be available as a two-CD set featuring 38 tracks and a two-LP vinyl collection boasting 20 songs.<\/p>\n<p>Fearless features highlights from the various bands and artists with whom Wood has recorded, as well as from his own solo releases. The 78-year-old Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Famer\u2019s work with The Birds, The Creation, the Jeff Beck Group, <a href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/tag\/the-faces\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Faces<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/tag\/rod-stewart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rod Stewart<\/a>, and, of course, The Rolling Stones is represented on the CD compilation. The majority of the songs on Fearless were written or co-written by Wood.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/americansongwriter.com\/ronnie-wood-celebrating-50th-anniversary-as-a-rolling-stone-by-offering-new-series-of-paintings-of-the-band-members-for-sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[RELATED: Ronnie Wood Celebrating 50th Anniversary as a Rolling Stone by Offering New Series of Paintings of the Band Members for Sale]<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The retrospective ends with four previously unreleased recordings by Ronnie, his first new songs since 2010. One of those tracks, a cover of \u201cYou\u2019re So Fine,\u201d a 1956 R&amp;B tune originally recorded by The Falcons, is <a href=\"https:\/\/ronniewood.lnk.to\/youresofine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available now<\/a> as an advance digital single. The track features Imelda May on backing vocals.<\/p>\n<p>Fearless also includes an extensive new essay penned by music writer and author Paul Sexton, who has interviewed Wood and his Stones bandmates many times over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The CD version of Fearless begins with a \u201cYou\u2019re on My Mind,\u201d a 1964 song Wood wrote for his early group The Birds. That\u2019s followed by \u201cThe Girls Are Naked,\u201d a 1968 tune Ronnie co-wrote during his brief tenure with The Creation. The LP collection opens with \u201cPlynth (Water Down the Drain),\u201d a tune Wood co-wrote with Stewart and keyboardist Nicky Hopkins that appeared on the Jeff Beck Group\u2019s classic 1969 album Beck-Ola.<\/p>\n<p>More About the Songs on Fearless<\/p>\n<p>The CD and vinyl versions of Fearless both include includes such Faces classics as \u201cStay with Me\u201d and \u201cOoh La La.\u201d They also feature the Stewart solo gems \u201cGasoline Alley\u201d and \u201cEvery Picture Tells a Story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the compilation boasts some interesting Wood collaborations from his solo releases. Among them is \u201cFar East Man,\u201d a song he co-wrote with George Harrison\u201d that\u2019s featured on Ronnie\u2019s 1974 solo debut, I\u2019ve Got My Own Album to Do. Another solo tune from the compilation, \u201cI Can Say She\u2019s Alright\u201d (1975) was co-written with R&amp;B legend Bobby Womack.<\/p>\n<p>Fearless also features \u201cThing About You,\u201d which Wood co-wrote with ZZ Top\u2019s Billy Gibbons and longtime Rolling Stones backing singer Bernard Fowler. It originally appeared on Ronnie\u2019s 2010 album, I Feel Like Playing.<\/p>\n<p>Several Rolling Stones tunes Wood co-wrote with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are featured on Fearless as well. They include \u201cDance (Pt. 1),\u201d \u201cEverything Is Turning to Gold,\u201d \u201cNo Use in Crying,\u201d and \u201cPretty Beat Up.<\/p>\n<p>The other new Wood songs featured on the compilation are a new original tune called \u201cMother of Pearl\u201d and covers of the 1961 Ernie K-Doe R&amp;B classic \u201cA Certain Girl\u201d and Jamaican-born singer Hopeton Lewis\u2019s 1966 rocksteady hit \u201cTake It Easy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Pretenders\u2019 Chrissie Hynde is featured on Wood\u2019s rendition of \u201cA Certain Girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The four new tracks were co-produced by Wood\u2019s son Jesse and in-demand studio whiz Sean Genockey.<\/p>\n<p>More About Fearless and Wood<\/p>\n<p>The release of Fearless comes on the heels of Wood\u2019s 50th anniversary as a member of The Rolling Stones. The album can be <a href=\"https:\/\/ronniewood.lnk.to\/fearlessPR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pre-ordered now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wood recently was a guest performer at Stewart\u2019s highly touted concert during the 2025 Glastonbury Festival on June 29.
