MLS side St Louis City are keen on the midfielder and want to take him back to the States<\/p>\n

St Louis City are pushing to sign Aberdeen<\/a>\u2019s Dante Polvara.<\/p>\n

The Major League Soccer outfit has targeted the Dons midfielder.<\/p>\n

Polvara was left out of the Aberdeen squad for the game with Livingston<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old is out-of-contract at Pittodrie in the summer.<\/p>\n

Lutz Pfannenstiel\u2019s former team wants to land the 25-year-old, while MLS rivals Columbus Crew are also interested.<\/p>\n

St Louis are in the driving seat and hope to agree a six figure to land Polvara this month.<\/p>\n

The MLS<\/a> transfer window opens next week and is open until March 26th.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen had made a significant offer to Polvara to extend his deal and rivals Hibs have also tabled an offer.<\/p>\n

Polvara\u2019s preference, though, is to return to America for family reasons.<\/p>\n

It now remains to be seen if a deal can be done now or if he leaves for nothing in the summer.<\/p>\n

The American has been at Aberdeen for four years since he moved from Georgetown Hoyas back in 2022.<\/p>\n

Polvara has been unlucky with injury in his time at Pittodrie and had a loan spell at Charleston Battery.<\/p>\n

He had struggled to get a regular run under Jimmy Thelin<\/a> and had admitted he wanted more games before he would make a decision on his future.<\/p>\n
