Lisa Rinna is backtracking her previous \u201cstalker\u201d comment<\/a> about her \u201cTraitors\u201d nemesis, Colton Underwood, after his resurfaced restraining order scandal<\/a> led to the reality star receiving death threats.<\/p>\n

The \u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d alum, 62, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday and asked her followers to \u201cplease be gentle\u201d with Underwood.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s come to my attention that my post that I responded to in my \u2018housewife mode\u2019 is taking on a life of its own and it\u2019s causing real problems for Colton,\u201d Rinna began.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not want this because Colton and I are great. He was a great and is a great nemesis for me on the show [and] in the game.\u201d <\/p>\n

In a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, she urged her followers to \u201cplease be gentle\u201d with Underwood after his restraining order scandal resurfaced. Lisa Rinna\/Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you asked me to be a housewife, I\u2019ll bring it to you, right? That\u2019s what I was doing all in the name of the game. But, just so you know, i am totally great with Colton,\u201d Rinna continued, adding that the two stars have \u201cbeen texting\u201d each other. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that the backlash is happening, I feel horrible about because I don\u2019t want to hurt anybody. I\u2019m here to play the game and have fun,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe had so much fun. I\u2019ve only always had a great time with him. So, please guys be gentle. It\u2019s a game, it\u2019s a TV show. We\u2019re all doing the best we can. Don\u2019t send death threats or do anything to jeopardize somebody\u2019s family.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Bravolebrity closed, insisting once again that her remark was \u201call part of the game.\u201d <\/p>\n

A rep for Underwood did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

In light of the controversy, the show released an official statement via Instagram, calling for fans to quit the \u201cunwarranted negativity and \u201cpersonal attacks\u201d on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are committed to making our cast feel safe, respected and supported \u2014 on screen and off. The cast of \u2018The Traitors\u2019 are real people, and what happens in the game should never lead to cyberbullying or harassment. There\u2019s a difference between discussing a show and targeting individuals,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s not ruin the passion for this show with unwarranted negativity and personal attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rinna responded, \u201cLet\u2019s talk about you being a stalker\u2026.\u201d as if she were talking to Underwood, 33.<\/p>\n

Underwood\u2019s ex Cassie Randolph\u00a0requested a restraining order<\/a>\u00a0against him in September 2020. The exes, who met on ABC\u2019s \u201cThe Bachelor,\u201d dated for less than two years before they decided to call it quits in May 2020.<\/p>\n

According to legal documents previously obtained by Page Six, she accused the former athlete of\u00a0stalking and harassing<\/a>\u00a0her with \u201cunsettling\u201d text messages and claimed he even went as far as planting a tracking device on her car.<\/p>\n
