Patchy dense fog will be possible Sunday morning. Make sure to plan extra travel time. <\/p>\n<p>A strong southerly flow will push temperatures for most into the low 80s on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">A significant winter storm will pass by to our north on Sunday. We will be on the warmer side of the system. To our north, snow and ice will create treacherous travel conditions on Sunday and Monday. The front associated with this system will move across our area early Monday morning. <\/p>\n<p>Near-record high temperatures are likely on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Temperatures will soar to near-record levels ahead of the front on Sunday with highs in the low 80s. The record high at Jacksonville International is 83 set back in 2023. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">A few showers will be possible later in the evening through the overnight hours, but not much rain is expected and most of the rain will fall overnight. <\/p>\n<p>Much colder air will move into the region next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Behind Sunday\u2019s system, colder air will surge into our area early next week. Monday will be the warmest day with temperatures near 60.
