Malls and some retail spots around North Texas<\/a> are shutting down completely on Sunday, as the cold front continues to freeze the region. <\/p>\n

NorthPark Center in Dallas, Stonebriar Centre in Frisco and Grapevine Mills will shut their doors on Sunday, according to messages on their websites. The Parks Mall at Arlington, Galleria Dallas and The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth also are following suit, according to its websites. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just malls. Roughly two dozen different sites for Walmart, including Sam\u2019s Club, were closed at about 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, according to a website. <\/p>\n

North Texas retail has been grappling with a storm<\/a> that\u2019s made driving more difficult. Some grocers have limited hour<\/a>s, including H-E-B, Kroger and Tom Thumb since Saturday. <\/p>\n

The region headed into a snowier Sunday as DFW International Airport received two inches\u2019 worth of mixed sleet, ice and snow over the course of the winter storm as of 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

The closures also affect Ikea, with sites in Frisco and Grand Prairie<\/a> shutting on Sunday, its websites said. <\/p>\n

Other closings include Town East Mall in Mesquite and Allen Premium Outlets. <\/p>\n

At NorthPark, an exception is Eataly, the Italian food store, which will be open for part of the day, the shopping center said.<\/p>\n

H-E-B said its North Texas stores, including Central Market and Joe V\u2019s Smart Shop, will close at 5 p.m. Sunday and reopen at 9 a.m. Monday. Aldi, the grocer, posted that some of its stores will have special operating hours amid the storm. <\/p>\n
