Many D-FW school districts canceled classes<\/a> for Tuesday. Here\u2019s what North Texas colleges and universities are doing.<\/p>\n

All Collin College campuses will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Classes and activities are canceled. Check collin.edu<\/a> for additional updated.<\/p>\n

All Dallas College campuses will be closed Monday. No announcement about Tuesday classes had been made as of 4:50 p.m. Sunday. Information about severe weather and Dallas College emergency alerts can be found here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Southern Methodist University<\/p>\n

In-person classes are canceled for Monday, SMU said on its website. Online classes will continue as scheduled. <\/p>\n

Because of the weather, SMU extended to the last day to enroll, add a course, or drop a course without tuition billing while remaining enrolled in the term to Wednesday, January 28. <\/p>\n

Tarrant County College<\/p>\n

All Tarrant County College campuses will closed through Monday. In-person classes and student services will be remote, TCC said<\/a> in a social media post. College officials will make a decision regarding Tuesday\u2019s classes on Monday.<\/p>\n

Texas Christian University<\/p>\n

TCU said its campus would be closed Monday, with all classes and activities canceled. Essential student services, including dining and residence halls, will stay open. Information can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No announcement about Tuesday classes had been made as of 5 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

Texas Woman\u2019s University<\/p>\n

In-person classes and operations at the TWU Dallas and Denton campuses are suspended through Tuesday. <\/p>\n

\u201cRemote working and teaching will be in place for faculty, staff and students,\u201d TWU said. \u201cSupervisors and professors will reach out with specifics.\u201d<\/p>\n

University of Dallas<\/p>\n

The Irving campus of University of Dallas will be closed Monday. In-person classes are canceled, but online courses \u201cmay continue at the instructor\u2019s discretion,\u201d the university said. <\/p>\n

Non-essential employees were told to stay home. Essential services such as police and dining will remain open. Plans for Tuesday will be announced Monday, the university said.<\/p>\n

UNT\u2019s Denton and Frisco campuses will be closed Monday and Tuesday. For information on Wednesday classes, check for updates at UNT.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

University of Texas at Arlington<\/p>\n

UTA moved classes online and shifted non-essential staff to remote work for Monday. All campus activities are canceled and the library will remain closed. It did not announce plans for Tuesday. Check for more details and updates at https:\/\/brnw.ch\/21wZnCJ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

University of Texas at Dallas<\/p>\n

In-person classes and campus activities are canceled for Monday and Tuesday, but students and faculty \u201care expected to make use of eLearning and other means to continue academic progress,\u201d the district said.<\/p>\n
