Caitlin Clark<\/a> is trading the court for the camera as she recovers from an injury-plagued sophomore season.<\/p>\n

It was revealed on Tuesday that the Indiana<\/a> Fever superstar has been tapped by NBC to serve as a special contributor for its NBA<\/a> coverage this season.<\/p>\n

Clark is set to make her broadcasting debut on February 1, when the Knicks host the Lakers at Madison Square Garden for the premiere of ‘Sunday Night Basketball’.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old expressed her delight at joining the network’s ‘Basketball Night in America’ team in a statement released on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

‘I’m really excited to be part of the ‘Basketball Night in America’ crew this season,’ Clark said.<\/p>\n

‘Carmelo [Anthony], Vince [Carter], and Tracy [McGrady] are legends of the game and Maria [Taylor] is a true professional. It will be really fun to join them a few times this season’.<\/p>\n

The move to television comes after a difficult second year in the WNBA for the Fever star<\/p>\n

In addition to her debut at MSG, Clark is also scheduled to appear on the program on March 29, when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Knicks.<\/p>\n

After a historic rookie campaign where she averaged 19.2 points per game and earned Rookie of the Year honors, Clark’s 2025 season was derailed by health issues.<\/p>\n

She grappled with left quad and left groin injuries early in the year before sustaining a right groin injury in July.<\/p>\n

Her season was ultimately cut short in September after she suffered a bone bruise to her left ankle during a workout.<\/p>\n

Clark was limited to just 13 games in 2025, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists before being shut down.<\/p>\n

Clark’s 2025 season was derailed by issues and she spent a large period on the sidelines<\/p>\n

Despite losing their star guard, the Fever managed to reach the semifinals of the playoffs, eventually falling to the champion Las Vegas Aces in five games.<\/p>\n

Clark is now preparing for her third WNBA season, which is scheduled to tip off on May 9 against Dallas.<\/p>\n

However, the start of the season remains tentative as the league and players union work to finalize a new collective bargaining agreement.<\/p>\n

Until then, basketball fans will have to get their Caitlin Clark fix on Sunday nights on NBC.<\/p>\n
